Sustainability Manager

You will drive the bank’s sustainability strategy, integrate environmental, social, and governance (ESG) principles into operations, and work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement a comprehensive sustainability strategy aligned with Finabank’s mission, regulatory standards, and industry best practices.
• Engage with all stakeholders—including clients, regulators, and NGOs—to drive sustainable banking practices and promote ESG-awareness.
• Prepare and present sustainability reports that meet regulatory requirements and demonstrate transparency to our stakeholders.
• Develop sustainable financial products such as green bonds, green and sustainability loans, and investment funds that align with market demand for sustainability.
• Identify and mitigate sustainability-related risks, integrating them into the bank’s broader risk framework.
• Coordinate internal and external communications on sustainability and report performance to all stakeholders.
• Develop training programs to embed sustainability practices and a culture of responsibility within the bank.

 
Experience:

• Master’s degree in environmental science or a related field.
• At least 5 years of proven experience in sustainability management, ESG analysis, or a related role within the banking or financial sector.
• In-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks, regulations, and reporting standard

Skills:

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Quality-oriented, with a commitment to integrity and accountability.
• Results driven and proactively identifying opportunities for sustainable growth.
• Passionate about environmental stewardship and social responsibility.
• Team player with strong leadership abilities.
